Rachel “Networking Liaison”
レイチェル ネットワーキング・リエゾン
Rachel brings over 15 years of experience in community engagement to her work with e-no. Originally from the United States, she has taught English and participated in sustainability-focused work exchanges in various countries around the world.
レイチェルは、15年以上にわたるコミュニティ活動の経験を活かし、e-noでの仕事に取り組んでいます。アメリカ出身の彼女は、これまで世界各国で英語を教えながら、サステナビリティをテーマにしたワークエクスチェンジにも参加してきました。
Since 2012, Rachel has worked as an Assistant English Teacher, creating dynamic classroom experiences, leading cultural exchange events, and supporting students through speech coaching and teacher training programs. She is also a conversation coach, workshop facilitator, and multi-year recipient of U.S. Consulate grants for her immersive English language programs in Okinawa.
2012年からは、英語指導助手として活動を続けており、創造的な授業づくり、文化交流イベントの企画運営、スピーチコーチングや教員研修などを通して、学びの場を豊かにしています。また、英会話コーチ、ワークショップのファシリテーターとしても活躍しており、沖縄でのイマ―ジョン型英語プログラムに対して、在沖米国総領事館から複数の助成金を受けています。
Outside of education, Rachel is an active supporter of Okinawa’s local artist community. Recently, she has begun organizing exhibitions for artists, often featuring opening events with tailor-made mocktail menus inspired by each exhibition’s theme. Through these events, she aims to highlight the abundance of unique, nutritious local ingredients available in Okinawa while also promoting the growing “sober curious” movement.
教育分野にとどまらず、レイチェルは沖縄のローカルアートコミュニティの熱心なサポーターでもあります。最近では、アーティストの展示会を企画し、展示のテーマに合わせたモクテル（ノンアルコールカクテル）のメニューを楽しめるオープニングパーティーも開催しています。これらのイベントを通じて、沖縄のユニークで栄養価の高い食材の魅力を発信するとともに、近年注目を集める「ソバーキュリアス（しらふ志向）」のライフスタイルも提案しています。
